ACTRIS Sweden is a National Research Infrastructure funded jointly by the Swedish Research Council (Grant 2021-00177) and the six Swedish Research Performing Organizations involved.

ACTRIS Sweden is the Swedish node of the distributed pan-European environmental research infrastructure ACTRIS – Aerosols, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure. European ACTRIS was established as an ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) on 25 April 2023, with Sweden as one of 17 founding members. On December 7th, 2021, ESFRI (the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) acknowledged ACTRIS with as a Landmark pan-European research infrastructure in the environmental domain. The investments made until 2021 for ACTRIS by the European countries amounts to 698 MEUR with an annual turnover of 93 MEUR.
